please help me get rid of blue boxes around my icons i have tried everything?
o.k i have got blue boxes around my text icons and rough blue box around the icon .
How can i get rid of this so it displays transparent
its on a home edition xp pc
when i sign in as guest it dosent have the blue boxes
i have wrote down all the settings and used them on my account
There still there?
i have checked/unchecked the drop shadow box and even taken my p.c in to the shop and they cant do it?
please help as its getting irritating now
easy, right click no my computer> Properties
system properties will open, click on Advanced Tab and click on under performance click settings a new window will open called performance options scroll to the bottom and select Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop click OK and OK again to exit the system properties and you should be good if that doesn't work then go back to performacne settings and choose adjust for best appearance if that doesn't work either just create a new account and move your files over from c:documents and settingsusername
