Color can also be a very effective device to draw the eye away from an unattractive feature in a room. If your venue has an acoustic tile ceiling, pull the eye down with brightly colored table linens. No one will see the ceiling when the tables are adorned in fab lime green tablecloths. You can also use subdued or dark colors as a masking agent. For instance, sometimes a corner of a room will have some sort of ventilation work that is an eyesore. A screen in a dark color will make that area of the room a non-factor.
