Why is my necklace offensive ? Please not joking is a real question!!!!!?

I made a very cool necklace but some people find it offensive and i dont get why? for beads i used Southern Flag tube beads(im southern its a heritage thing),normal metal beads for spacers, and some cool metal spike beads(thought they looked cool) and cool skull beads (thought they looked cool too). for the pendent i used my St. Micheal pendent it looks so cool i love angel jewelry . I dont realy care what people think but is odd how people started giving me mean looks (most of the time happens at the mall in the city ) most of the country folks know me so they dont care

History shows that the slavery issue was not brought up until the end of the war almost
I think this is why they are having a problem with it
wear what you like it makes no difference on how you feel on the inside..........God knows how you feel
