Hair coloring tips for natural dark hair?

I'm thinking of coloring my hair strawberry blonde or dark chestnut reddish brown. I'm planning to also color my eyebrows with the same hair color. Do you think it's advisable to do so? or should I just leave my brows black? And I have a natural black hair, will I get a good result if I color it with blonde or reddish brown? Or should I bleach blonde my hair first before coloring it? Thank you..

Advisable? Kenta, only you can decide that. From reading your posts, I think you have a good head on your shoulders, so YOU decide what you want to do. Now if you do decide to color your hair, I have an opinion on the brow situation. Color them too. That's just my opinion though. I would remind you to keep in mind that such a thing is an ongoing process. Hair grows. At least IMHO, as a hair dye job grows out you start to look less than natural, if not flat out weird, if you don't have the process repeated on a regular basis.

As for results, I think you should discuss this with a reputable salon. Asking people here? I'm not the one to ask about that and I don't think you should trust anyone else either, unless they tell you to consult a professional.

Spice Up Your Wedding Reception With Color

Are you faced with decorating a reception venue that is a little blah? This is not to say that you need to match the flowers to the colors in your venue if you do not particularly care for them; just make sure they don't clash. For instance, if your venue has brown carpeting, you could make the space feel lighter and more feminine by using a profusion of pink flowers. A mustard yellow wall color would recede in a room filled with rich purple blossoms. You get the concept.

Color can also be a very effective device to draw the eye away from an unattractive feature in a room. If your venue has an acoustic tile ceiling, pull the eye down with brightly colored table linens. No one will see the ceiling when the tables are adorned in fab lime green tablecloths. You can also use subdued or dark colors as a masking agent. For instance, sometimes a corner of a room will have some sort of ventilation work that is an eyesore. A screen in a dark color will make that area of the room a non-factor.

Even if you love your reception space just the way it is, you can still have fun introducing some pops of color to add visual interest. Classic white tablecloths will look much more special when they are topped with amethyst colored glass chargers under the place settings. Centerpieces with flowers in several shades of purple mixed with green accents would be the perfect finishing touch.

And don't forget about how the people in the wedding party will bring more color to a room. Think about how your bridesmaids' dresses will look in your reception venue. As for the bride, it can be really fun to have a set of custom bridal jewelry made in your chosen wedding colors to wear for the reception. The Beauty and Power of the Zebra

At first glance the zebra appears to be nothing more than a striped horse, but in fact the two are quite different. Zebras are truly unique animals, and they are one of the biggest draws at any zoo or wild animal park.

As one would expect, the zebra is a member of the horse family, and this unique and fascinating animal is native to central and southern parts of the African continent. All zebras have the easily identifiable black and white vertical stripes, but no two zebras will have the same stripe pattern.

The purpose of the zebra stripes has always been hotly contested, and it continues to be a bone of contention even today. At first, most scientists assumed that the stripe patterns of the zebra were used as camoflauge to hide the zebra from lions and other predators. Other zoologists believed that the stripe patterns were used by the zebras in social life and to distinguish between individual zebras. One of the most recent theories, and one that has been backed up by research, holds that the zebra uses its distinctive stripes as a sort of disruptive coloration to confuse the dangerous tsetse fly.

No matter what the purpose of the stripes, the zebra has been one of the most successful animals at surviving in a hostile world. The zebra can travel at a top speed of 55 kilometers per hour. This top speed is slower than that of the horse, but the zebra makes up for its lack of speed with greater stamina. During a single day a zebra can travel up to 40 kilometers from the herd and be back again in time for dark.

There are actually three species of zebra. The Plains Zebra is the most common type of zebra and it is well distributed throughout southern and eastern Africa. The Mountain Zebra is native to southwest Africa, and it has a sleeker coat than the other varieties. In addition, the Mountain Zebra has a white belly and narrower stripes than does the Plains Zebra. Lastly, the largest zebra is the Gravy's Zebra. This zebra is distinguished by its upright mane and its long, narrow head. The Gravy's Zebra is similar in appearance to the mule, and it is native to the grasslands of Somalia, Ethiopia and northern parts of Kenya.

What kind of snake is tan with crosses of blackish brown on it?

I have a snake under the barn that has a smaillish head, is about six feet long, and is a beautiful tan with dark brown crosses down its body. What is it?
I live in the high desert of Western Colorado/Eastern Utah
This is high desert. . . 6,000 feet. No, I am not near a creek. The snake is, easily, 6 feet long, and friendly. It came out to bathe and drink from the nozzle spray of the faucet I was using to water the horses.
The markings are crosses or X's, about every 4 or 5 inches all along the body. It's not a rattler.

well, what part of the country are you in, what country are you in, and by crosses do you mean lines? too long for a kingsnake, could be a pine snake, since you are still breathing we will assume a: that it isn't a rattle snake, and b: that it isn't really six feet long, i think if your barn is near a creek it's probably a banded water snake, most likely not poisonous, unless it is a rattler.

Tanning beds are used both in home and tanning salons. Tanning beds in salons are clamshell shaped. Tanning salons have drawn a lot of flak because of health concerns. Prior appointment is needed to tan in a salon. Home tanning beds are convenient and can be used any time of the day or night.

These beds are expensive. Many manufacturers offer warranties for more than a year and detailed literature about the product. Tanning beds are found all over the world.

It is advisable to use tanning beds with caution. Long exposure can cause burns. Pregnant women should not use these beds. The basic concern about over usage of these beds is related to cancer as basil cell sarcoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and the most dangerous melanoma can occur. Skin cancer is the most serious side effect, but there are other side effects also. Apart from burning the skin, it causes the skin to become wrinkled and over exposure results in cataract. This in turn gives an old look.

Tanning beds and tanning salons are now big business. Manufacturers and salon owners paint a rosy picture, but people should be told about the harmful side as well. Only a very judicious use of these beds is recommended. Tanning might bring a low in looks, but risking health is also foolhardy.
